Data Security & AI Usage

ReNewIQ is committed to protecting your data. All contract data is stored securely on Netlify’s infrastructure using encrypted, authenticated access tied to your individual account through Netlify Identity. Your data is only accessible to you and authorized members of your organization.

How AI Features Work: When you use ReNewIQ’s AI-powered analysis (such as contract insights, value extraction, or the contract chat assistant), relevant contract details are sent to the Anthropic API (Claude) for processing. This occurs only when you actively request an AI action — no data is sent automatically or in the background.

AI Data Retention: Anthropic’s API does not use your inputs or outputs to train its models. Data sent through the API is retained only for a short-term safety evaluation window (typically up to 30 days), after which it is permanently deleted. ReNewIQ does not store, cache, or log any AI request or response data beyond the current session.

API Key Security: All communication with the AI service is routed through a secure server-side proxy. Your API credentials are never exposed to the browser or accessible to end users.

Your Rights: You retain full ownership of all contract data you upload to ReNewIQ. We do not sell, share, or distribute your data to third parties.
